Disney is  currently making a CG version of The Phantom of the Opera and Keanu Reeves has landed the coveted role as the Phantom.

Why Disney? Just why?

    Either it’s an April Fools Day joke…or they’ve decided it’s going to be “Phantom and Ted’s Opera Adventure.”
    Keanu is an okay actor (all I really know him for is Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure), but I just don’t really see him doing voice acting, especially for a darker role.

    It does make me wonder though, if Disney were to make something from Broadway into an animated feature who’s music would they use?
