Esmeralda’s White Costume, Notre Dame de Paris

It’s been a while since I have made a new Notre Dame de Paris Lens. This time it’s on Esmeralda white costume. I’m not sure if this costume is as polarizing as her green one. But I like it. I found it odd that with how over-the-top the Italian performance is that the white costume is so simple.

Weirder still, I find the World Tour cast choice odd. There is is like two versions of this costume but the dancers where a version that look the costume you seem in practically in every other version.

Ad for the 2013 Concerts

So these concerts have been in happening in Kiev, Moscow, and St Petersburg for the past 3 years. They have only happen outside these cities twice, in Paris and Beirut.  And while is this great, I think it’s unfair they keep occurring in mostly the same three cities. I know it comes down to the person organizing and to get it other locationa mean someone has to make it happen. But still Notre Dame de Paris seem to be popular world-wide and it’s unfair to the fan who can’t make it to those locations. I hope there more concerts in other places,  hopefully in either Montreal or New York City (both are “close” to me ^_~).

Belle on Turkish Television

This performance of Belle confuses me. We have no Phoebus but whatever this isn’t the first performance to cast aside Phoebus. We have three languages being sung; French, Turkish and English. And what is Esmeralda wearing? It looks like a Grecian style maxi dress. I could expect this is Quasimodo and Frollo were not in period-ish style costumes. Maybe I’m missing something. Oh well, at least it’s not red. But also why does she seem angry? Also is just me or is Quasimodo’s prosthetic falling off?

This a Japanese Ad for Notre Dame de Paris.  The World Tour Cast will perform in Tokyo   from Feb 27th to March 17th. THis is the first time the show will be performed in Japan.

The cast mixing in this ad is weird. They play audio of Bruno Pelletier and Garou singing in English and yet they show footage of the 2005 Asian Tour cast. Both Matt Laurent and Richard Charest were in the 2005 Asian Tour and are in the World Tour Cast.  It just seem like false advertising to not showcase the cast that people are paying to see.
